What is the biggest difference between a sports and deep tissue massage? If i workout constantly in the gym and have muscular aches, but also just want general release of tension - which type of massage should i get?
Thanks for your question, sports massage is generally focussed on 2-3 areas with stretches, and Deep tissue would be full body, but different therapists will try and make the treatment bespoke to your needs. If your having Deep tissue, I would go for a 90 minutes treatment as this gives the therapist enough time to treat the whole body. As when you lay on the couch it will take a good 20 mins for your nervous system to relax a little, before your body will start to relax.
